What ever happened to common decency??

I honestly don't think all the extra hormones have affected my general mood, but there are a few things that have just been driving me crazy lately!

Leaving a shopping cart in the middle of the parking lot. For instance, shopping at the commissary is always an ordeal because it's always busy. It is normal to drive up and down the aisles a few times before finally finding an vacant spot. So, you can imagine my frustration when I finally find a spot (about 7 aisles away from the entrance) and just as I'm pulling in, the moron in the spot on the other side leaves her cart in my space!!! Seriously...the cart return was only 5 spots away! But, I guess she was extremely pressed for time since she hurriedly got in her car, lit a cigarette, and sat there until we walked away. (I may, or may not have given her the stink eye the entire time).

People that don't wash their hands. Seeing as I work in the health care field, I find this absolutely disgusting. I can't help but get frustrated when I am in a public restroom and I see employees & customers fail to wash their hands after using the facilities. Do we really wonder why the swine flu is spreading so rapidly??? Also, with all the abscesses I see on the "down there" area, I will hover if there isn't a seat cover available. I have also been known to use a paper towel to open the door to leave & if there isn't a trash can near the door, I'll hold it til I find one.

-------------------------------------------

On a different note, does anyone know where I can get some decent maternity clothes?? I am in desperate need of some jeans & skirts. I know I'm only rounding the 14th week, but the twins didn't get that memo, and my belly is growing ever so quickly!! I have found a few shirts (non-maternity) that will work for awhile...but I don't want to have to dress frumpy :o( and I don't want to have to resort to wearing scrubs in public ;o)

I am always grossed out when I see people leave without washing thier hands. So gross.

So far I have found that Motherhood maternity has the most affordable, cute maternity clothes. I went there when we were at the mall yesterday and was able to get some basic t-shirts for about $10 each. Which for maternity shirts is a steal. Old Navy sometimes has some cute ones too. But I have found that Old Navy goes through frequent ugly phases.

Target sometimes has cut tops. But they are not good for when you are in your 3rd trimester.

Speaking of old navy, they are currently having a sale on maternity clothes. http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=50178&tid=onemri0017&ev=OM49202009&di=49870143&cd=ONNC_OAC&redirect=true If you hurry, you might be able to actually find the right size. They sell out pretty fast. If you wait too long. Pretty soon all your left with is xxsmall and xxxlarge. lol.

I'm glad you gave that woman the stink eye. She deserved it!

The target in my area has a HUGE selection of maternity clothes. I'm always disappointed when I find something I like and then realize it's maternity wear. I'll admit I do have one maternity sweater, it's a size small, and I love it! ha

My friend said that same thing as Michelle. She really like Motherhood Maternity and wasn't too impressed with Old Navy. Target also has a cute line.

I'm with the other Target lovers. I wore non maternity clothes pretty much my entire pregnancy (just bought a couple sizes up) and did just fine. Target is cute and uber cheap- example I just bought some soft, stretchy leggings at 6 bucks a pop. Leggings were a preg STAPLE for me, along with empire waist dresses. And I still wear some of my maternity clothes- I actually just bought a 6 dollar dress at Target on clearance and it was the maternity line. And you can't tell the difference at ALL.

Old Navy and Target, as others have said. And if you have a Kohl's near you, I love most of their maternity stuff.

Mar! I wish you were around so I could see that cute little belly! I didn't wear a lot of maternity stuff I just tried to find bigger sizes that didn't drown me up top in the shoulder area. Down East Basics (not sure if Down East is supposed to be one word) has awesome T shirts that even if you buy bigger sizes it still fits up top but flares a little around the belly. If I did buy maternity stuff it was usually from Gap Maternity or Pea in the Pod. Good luck! I am expecting cute pics of you in your new maternity clothes!

People who don't wash their hands after using the restroom disgust me!! That is just nasty! At the movies the other day a lady left the stall and I am washing my hands, noting her just standing there, looking in the mirror, then....she pulls her hair down and redoes her ponytail (gagging), and still follows me out, no washy washy for her. I was so grossed out! Even my non OCD sisters were grossed out and laughing so we ran outside to finish being grossed out.LOL

girl...EBAY!!!! I bought most of my maternity clothes there, all top name brand and you'll find if they've only been worn for 1 pregnancy, they are in almost new condition and no one will know...and you can find some really cute ones!! I bought from Ebay for both of last pregnancies and always had tons of compliments!! I bought lots of clothes, otherwise it can be a rip off...but can find some great deals!! For last minute items, Target and Motherhood maternity :-)

I hit the Target and some consignment shops when I was pregnant...and wore some non-maternity stuff...especially tops and dresses and with the styles now...you can carry off those easily. We also did a swap...when I was pregant...there were about seven of us all in various states of pregnancy...so we swapped a lot. It was great...no cost. I had one friend that was in maternity clothes from the day she took the pregnancy test and it was positive...I did not wear them until I was at the end of my seventh month. Target is great...I know you will be one styling little momma!

I think common decency and common sense are, and have been for quite some time, on the endangered species list!! UGH!!

Good luck getting clothes hun! I had a terrible time of it when I was pregnant with Bella. It was cheaper to get women's sizes and I could still find some cute things.
